Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Board of Directors Following a Positive Year of Growth and Engagement
HALTON HILLS, ON – October 19, 2026 – The Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its 2026–2027 Board of Directors following its recent Annual General Meeting, held on October 8, 2026.
The Chamber extends its sincere appreciation to Mayor Ann Lawlor for joining the Board's official swearing-in ceremony and for her continued support of the local business community.
The AGM provided an opportunity to reflect on a positive year for the Chamber, marked by strong member engagement, increased participation in events and programs, and steady membership. The Chamber also continued to strengthen its advocacy efforts, representing the interests of local businesses at the municipal, provincial and federal levels.
Peter Sproule, Chair of the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce, expressed his appreciation for the continued support of the Chamber's members and volunteers.
“The past year has brought its share of challenges and uncertainty for our business community, but I couldn't be prouder of how our members have come together and the support our Chamber staff has provided,” said Peter Sproule, Chair of the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce. “Whether sharing challenges and ideas at networking events, supporting one another's businesses or simply making time to connect, we've seen the strength of our business community firsthand. I'm excited to welcome our new Board members and continue building on that spirit of collaboration in the year ahead.”
While the past year brought positive results, the Chamber recognizes that local businesses continue to face significant challenges, including rising operating costs, workforce pressures, regulatory requirements and ongoing economic uncertainty.
