The members of the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce elected the 2024-2025 Board of Directors at the 34th Annual General Meeting on September 19, 2024.

Sworn in by Halton Hills Mayor Ann Lawlor, the members of the Board are:

(HALTON HILLS – September 19, 2024) - HALTON HILLS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Delegates of the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce voted in the new 2024-2025 Board of Directors at the 34th Annual General Meeting.

Board Chair, Sean Ashbee presided over the meeting of 21 member delegates and 59 proxy votes.

In his address, Ashbee stated: “This past year has been full of new opportunities and challenges, and I want to thank each of you for your support and dedication to our shared mission – a mission of being a future ready Chamber.

Over the past year, we’ve held more than 35 events, including our signature gatherings that brought our members and the community together. From informative seminars to impactful networking opportunities, our events are integral to fostering the connections that fuel business growth and innovation.”

In his remarks highlighting what is to come in the next year, Ashbee also said “There’s a lot of exciting work ahead, and I’m confident that with your continued support and engagement, we’ll achieve great things together. Our strategic plan is not just a document—it’s a living roadmap guiding us toward a stronger, more prosperous future for the Halton Hills Chamber and the community we serve.”

For the 2024-2025 term, the Executive Committee appointed by the Board include: Chair, Sean Ashbee (Head for the Hills Craft Beverage Festival),Treasurer and Chair -Elect, Peter Sproule (Momentum Financial Services Inc.) and 1st Vice-Chair Karen McBride (BKM Virtual Services Inc.)

Directors returning include: Ray Chesher (Your Home Today Realty Inc.), Allan Ehrlick (Halton Region Federation of Agriculture), Prince John, (Business Development Bank of Canada), Rob Juns (Carstar Georgetown Service Centre), Sam Karunanithi (Lawrie Insurance Group), and Karen McBride (BKM Virtual Support Services Inc.).

Joining the Board this year are: Roger Alfaro (Roger Alfaro – Mortgages), Ginette Brown (Just Got ReDirected Career Coaching) and Nicole Walker (Acton Optical Ltd.).

Ashbee also expressed gratitude for retiring board members Chris Cambouris (Titan Tek Inc.), Jamie Draves (Quinta Quinoa) and Stephen Stoute, Past Chair (Stoneridge Insurance Georgetown) for their dedication to the Chamber.
