Job Summary:
The Car Detailer is responsible for performing thorough cleaning, restoration, and finishing of vehicles, both inside and out. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about cars, enjoys working with their hands, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.


Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interior detailing, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, cleaning upholstery, windows, vents, and consoles.
• Perform exterior detailing, including washing, waxing, polishing, and applying protective coatings to paint, chrome, and glass surfaces.
• Clean and restore wheels, tires, and engine compartments.
• Inspect vehicles for damage, dirt, and other imperfections before and after detailing.
• Maintain proper use and care of detailing tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning agents and equipment.
• Assist with customer service, including explaining services, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including storage of tools and products.
• Collaborate with team members to complete detailing jobs efficiently and to the highest standards.


Qualifications:
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in car detailing or automotive cleaning preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
• Ability to work efficiently and pay attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and presentable vehicle if mobile work is wanted.

Preferred:
• Knowledge of detailing products, tools, and techniques.
• Experience with paint correction, polishing, and ceramic coating applications.
• Strong customer service skills.

• Physically fit and able to handle manual labor.
• Team player who communicates effectively.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

• $18-$23/hour depending on experience.
